Actor and ex-husband of popular Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu, Adeniyi Johnson has described reports that he is making moves to bring back his wife as a blatant lie.

He said that since the marriage broke up, he had not thought of going back, adding that it was Toyin who had been calling and pleading for reunion.

Niyi was speaking with Saturday Beats, where he waved off the reports that he had been reaching Toyin every time in order to see if they could make amends in their marriage.

He said, “This is a blatant lie! In fact, the reverse is even the case.

“I can’ t even remember the last time I spoke to her; it probably was sometime last year.

“I have never called her since this controversy started.

“But she has been the one calling me. I have a lot of evidence to prove this.”

Niyi, however, said that things will unfold in few weeks about their chances of coming together again as man and wife.

He added, “I would rather not talk about it. But I have to tell you that in a few weeks, things will unfold.?”
