Shimza was live Robben Island, west of the coast of Bloubergstrand, north of Cape Town, South Africa. He logged a near 2 hour live mix to celebrated Mandela Day, courtesy of MTV Base.

The one man show follows a long list of mixes from Shimza. It’s the second mix by Shimza since the lockdown having locked a dope mix for Djoon.Nelson Mandela International Day is an annual international day in honour of Nelson Mandela, celebrated each year on 18 July, Mandela’s birthday. The day was officially declared by the United Nations in November 2009, with the first UN Mandela Day held on 18 July 2010. This project is supported by the Kolisi Foundation and all money raised from donations will be used to provide food parcels for hungry families in South African Townships, now severely impacted by the COVID crisis.
