Beyoncé - If I Were A Boy

If I Were a Boy is a pop R&B song recorded by American singer-songwriter Beyoncé, from her 2008 third studio album I Am… Sasha Fierce.

The song was written and produced by BC Jean and Toby Gad, with assistance from Beyoncé. It was released as the album’s lead single on October 8, 2008, followed simultaneously by Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).

If I Were a Boy was indeed commercially successful, holding down the number-three spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 while topping charts in the UK and nine (9) other countries.

Don’t forget the single has been certified 3x and 2x platinum in Australia and the US respectively.
