Buhari will fulfill all his promises - Francis Onabis

Nigerian businessman based in Italy, Francis Onabis has assured Nigerians that the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari would fulfill all the promises made during his electioneering campaign.

In a congratulatory message on the successful conduct of the Saturday election, Onabis, who is also a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) said that Buhari’s administration would bring succour to the people of the country who have suffered 16 years of misrule.

“As we celebrate this historic victory of our party, its time to reflect on the nation, our pains and gains in the struggle for a New Nigeria.

“No doubt the Peoples General would lay the solid foundation of a New Nigeria, a Nigeria where thing work, a country where people are govern with fairness and justice,” Onabis said

Speaking further, he added that it was high time all Nigerians, irrespective of political affiliation, came together to support General Buhari and the APC government to build the nation.

He also called on the people to get more involved in electioneering process. “For a country of over 180 million people, with less than 30 million voters is not very encouraging, voting is a fundamental duty to the state.

“There’s a need to step up enlightenment on voters participation, where people should be assured that they will, will be respected always.”

However, Onabis saluted all APC Leaders and members who fought for change. “Our leaders from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Chief John Oyegun, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Sam Nda Isaiah, Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to all APC governors who piloted us to victory Nigerians will never forget your role during this struggle to liberate them from misgovernance.”
